Martin Blaich
Martin Blaich (born September 23, 1820 in Zwerenberg in the Black Forest , today a district of Neuweiler ; † August 19, 1903 in Preußisch Bahnau , today Selenodolskoje ) was a well-known pastor and revival preacher (evangelist) of the community movement .
For health reasons Blaich could not be accepted into the Basel Mission and instead entered the Mission School of the Temple Society in Kirschenhardthof , for which he then worked as an evangelist in the Black Forest. Together with Johannes Seitz , he founded the Evangelical Brothers Association in the province of Posen in 1878 . For a time he was active as a pastor of the Württemberg Templars in Haifa and prepared their return to the regional church. The Evangelical Carmel Mission arose from this.
