Martin Brandl
Martin Brandl (born April 27, 1981 in Kandel ) is a German CDU politician and has been a member of the state parliament in Rhineland-Palatinate for the Germersheim constituency since 2009 .
Life and work
After graduating from the Goethe-Gymnasium Germersheim in 2000, Martin Brandl did his military service with the Air Force Training Regiment III in Germersheim. He then studied business administration at the Karlsruhe University of Cooperative Education and completed the practical part of the dual training course at SEW-Eurodrive in Bruchsal. In 2004 he completed his training with a degree in business administration (BA). Also at SEW-Eurodrive, he was responsible for coordinating international market specialists in the Strategic Marketing division until he moved up to the state parliament on October 28, 2009.
Brandl is married and has three children.

In 1996 Martin Brandl joined the Junge Union . From 2001 to 2005 he was chairman of the JU district association in Germersheim. In 2000 he became a member of the CDU and since 2007 he has been chairman of the Rülzheim community association . Martin Brandl was a member of the Rülzheim City Council from 1999 to 2016. Since 2004 he has been a member of the Rülzheim municipal council and the Germersheim district council. From 2009 to 2015 he was deputy chairman and since 2015 he has been chairman of the CDU district parliamentary group.
He was nominated as a B candidate for the 2006 state elections and moved up on October 28, 2009 for Dr. Thomas Gebhart after his election to the Bundestag in the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament . Brandl was directly elected as a MP in the Germersheim constituency in 2011 and 2016.
On May 11, 2016 Brandl was elected Parliamentary Managing Director of the state parliamentary group.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of Sparkasse Germersheim-Kandel .
On March 17, 2018, he becomes the main chairman of the Palatinate Forest Association
