Martin Brothers is a DJ / producer duo from Zurich and Los Angeles , consisting of the brothers Niki Martin and Oliver Martin. Their music is categorized as pop , electro-pop and EDM . The duo themselves describe their style as LA pop.

Band history

Foundation and first publications

After several band projects together, the two brothers founded the DJ duo Martin Brothers in 2013 . The first releases of singles followed. The songs Don't Go and Champion helped the duo to airplay on various Swiss radio stations and appear in well-known clubs such as B. the Vegas Club in Lucerne .

Debut album California

In 2015, studio work began on the debut album California in Los Angeles . For the most part, the duo worked with various singers from the USA . In addition, during the production for the mix and mastering process one could work together with the Grammy Awards winners Dylan Dresdow , Véronica Ferraro, Miles Walker and Tom Coyne .

During the studio work, some music videos were also produced in the greater Los Angeles and Las Vegas areas .

In 2017, the release of the pre-single On A Mission , which reached number 40 in the Swiss dance charts , was followed by the release of the album California . This debut album contained 15 songs and was released in August 2017.

The single I Was Never Yours was featured in various international Spotify and Youtube channels. In October 2017, the single entered the Spotify Germany charts at number 25.

The music videos associated with the single releases from I Was Never Yours and Find Another Love also received international feedback.

2018: No Rush and Trouble

With No Rush and Trouble , two new singles were released in 2018. The single No Rush was released by the record label Muve Recordings and played on various Spotify playlists such as Filtr and Digster. The single Trouble , which was released in September 2018, entered the Canadian iTunes Top100 charts on September 18, 2018 .
