Martin Andreas Huber (born November 16, 1977 in Mühldorf am Inn ) is a German politician ( CSU ).

Life

Martin Huber grew up in Töging am Inn , where he still lives today (as of 2020). From 1999 to 2004 he studied political science, economic and social history and Bavarian history at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich ; he received his doctorate there in 2007. From 2004 to 2007 he worked in the public relations department of the CSU state management and from 2004 to 2008 freelance work for Stephan Mayer, member of the CSU Bundestag . In 2008 he became the personal advisor to the CSU chairman Horst Seehofer in the CSU national management. With his entry into the state parliament, he left this position.

Huber is Roman Catholic and married.

Martin Huber has been a district councilor in the Altötting district since 2008 . He has also been a member of the city council of his hometown of Töging am Inn since 2014.

In the state elections on September 15, 2013 , he was elected a member of the Bavarian state parliament. There he works in the committees for submissions and complaints, for the environment and consumer protection and in the committee for federal and European affairs and regional relations.
