Martin Kipp
Martin Kipp (born July 13, 1945 in Mengeringhausen ) is a German university professor emeritus for vocational education .
After attending the secondary school in Arolsen (now Kaulbachschule in Bad Arolsen), Kipp learned the metalworking and mechanical engineering trade from Max Künzel (Arolser Metallbau) and became a guild, chamber and state winner in the practical performance competition of the German youth craftsmen , before joining the Hessenkolleg in Frankfurt in 1967 on the Main acquired the university entrance qualification . From 1967 to 1971 he studied pedagogy, professional pedagogy, sociology and psychology at the TH Darmstadt (master's examination 1971; doctorate in 1977), in order to then work in Frankfurt am Main and Darmstadt in extracurricular youth and adult education.
From 1975 to 1978 Kipp was Wiss. Employee for vocational and business education at the University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg (now Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg), from 1978 to 1984 academic advisor at the Institute for Vocational Education at the University of Hanover, where he qualified as a professor in 1983 in the specialist field of vocational education. From 1984 to 1998 he was (as successor to Antonius Lipsmeier) Professor of Vocational Education at the University of Kassel, where he helped to build up the new specialization in "Vocational Rehabilitation".
From 1998 to 2008, Kipp (as successor to Hermann Lange) held the chair for vocational education at the University of Hamburg, where he focused on historical vocational training research and the development of the first internet magazine bwp @. Since then he has lived as a freelance journalist and alternative practitioner candidate in Rosenfeld-Bickelsberg.
