Martin Kroog

Martin Kroog (born July 31, 1972 in Osnabrück ) is a German former basketball player .

career

The from Osnabrück Dating Kroog played for the SG Braunschweig in the second basketball league and managed with the team in 1991 promotion to the National Basketball League and in the same year as the second division the entry into the final of the DBB Cup . There Kroog and the Braunschweiger had to admit defeat Bayer Leverkusen , but were represented in the 1991/92 season in the European Cup, in which he played with SG alongside the Bundesliga.

As a trainer, Kroog looked after the men's team of TuS Bramsche in the 2nd regional league from September 2008 and remained in office until March 2010. In his first season he led Bramsche to the runner-up in the 2nd regional league, when they split up in March 2010, the team was in first place in the league. From 2011 to 2013, Kroog was then coach of TV Ibbenbüren in the regional league. In 2014 he won the German over 35 championship as a senior player with VFK Hagen.
