Martin Laemmel
Martin Moritz Lämmel (also: Martin Lemmel ; born September 16, 1849 in Kulkwitz ; date of death unknown) was a German engraver , painter , graphic artist and wood engraver .
Life
Martin was born as the son of the Leipzig copper engraver Karl Moritz Lämmel . In 1888 Martin Lämmel took the citizenship oath in Leipzig. There he became the owner of a paper business.
Works
Numerous wood engravings in the family magazine Die Gartenlaube are signed with his name.
