Moritz Lämmel

Karl Moritz Lämmel (also: Carl Moritz Lemmel ; * 1822 in Leipzig ; date of death unknown) was a German copper and steel engraver .

Life

Moritz Lämmel studied at the Munich Academy . He was the father of Martin Lämmel .

Numerous steel portrait engravings by Lämmel are known. Based on models by Friedrich Pecht and Arthur von Ramberg , he engraved for the Schiller Gallery , published in 1859, and the Goethe Gallery , published in 1864 .
