Martin Lehmann (lawyer)

Martin Lehmann (born February 13, 1955 in Minden ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Life

Lehmann began his professional career in North Rhine-Westphalia . He was initially a probationary judge at the Bielefeld Regional Court , the Gütersloh Local Court , the Paderborn Local Court and the Paderborn Regional Court . From May 1982 to December 1983 there was a secondment to the judicial examination office at the Hamm Higher Regional Court . At the end of 1983 he was appointed judge at the Paderborn Regional Court. From March 1990 he was seconded to the Hamm Higher Regional Court and in December 1991 he was appointed judge at the Hamm Higher Regional Court. After working in various civil senates and several years of service at the Judicial Examination Office, he became the presiding judge in a Senate of the Higher Regional Court responsible for private construction law and emission law claims from neighboring law.

On April 6, 2010, at the age of 55, he became a judge at the Federal Court of Justice and was assigned to the IV Civil Senate of the Federal Court of Justice , which was primarily concerned with insurance law .
