Martin Leuenberger

Martin Leuenberger (born May 31, 1973 in Uster ) is a Protestant theologian .

Life

From 1993 to 2000 he studied theology in Zurich and Tübingen . From 2000 to 2003 he was a research assistant at the University of Zurich ( Odil Hannes Steck / Konrad Schmid ). From 2001 to 2009 he headed the Reformed Student House in Moußonstrasse in Zurich. After receiving his doctorate in 2003 as Dr. theol. he completed the Vicariate at the Grossmünster from 2003 to 2004 . After ordination in 2004 as Verbi Divini Minister (VDM) of the Evangelical Reformed Church of the Canton of Zurichfrom 2004 to 2007 he was senior research assistant at the University of Zurich (Konrad Schmid); Habilitation grant. In 2006 he was a Henri Frankfort Fellow at the Warburg Institute . After completing his habilitation in 2007 and being awarded the Venia Legendi , he was a private lecturer at the University of Zurich and a professor at the University of Friborg from 2007 to 2008 . From 2008 to 2012 he was Professor of the Old Testament with an additional focus on Biblical Archeology at the University of Münster . Since 2012 he has been teaching as a professor for the Old Testament at the University of Tübingen
