Martin Mindermann

Martin Mindermann (* 1960 in Bremen ) is a German ceramic artist. He created v. a. Raku pottery .

Life

Mindermann completed an apprenticeship as a painter from 1977 to 1980. From 1984 to 1990 he studied at the University of the Arts in Bremen with Dorothee Colberg-Tjadens and Fritz Vehring . 1994–2005 he participated in the studio community Altes Pumpwerk in Bremen. In 2003 he got a teaching position at the University of the Arts in Bremen. Mindermann has had his own studio in Oyten since 2005. In 2013 he received a teaching post from the State Ceramic School in Landshut .

  • 2003: Euregio Prize, Raeren Ceramic Museum , Belgium
  • 2009: 1st prize from the Koblenz Chamber of Crafts
