Martin Olofsson

Martin Olofsson (born February 12, 1976 ) is a former Swedish floorball player . With the Swedish national team he was world champion five times in a row between 1996 and 2006.

Olofsson's parent club is Själevads IBK . Later he also played in the Swiss Malans ( Alligator Malans ) and in Örnsköldsvik. With the local club Örnsköldsviks Innebandy he was able to win the main round of the Elitserien i innebandy in 1998/99 and 1999/00 .

For the national team he played 74 times and scored 110 points scorer (58 goals and 52 assists). At the World Cup in 1996 he was the best scorer of the tournament at the age of 20 (16 points in seven games) together with the Czech Vladimír Fuchs . He was also among the best scorers in the following World Cup tournaments. In 2000 he was second best scorer behind Tero Karppanen from Finland (nine points in five games) as well as two years later behind his compatriot Johan Andersson .

Since the 2007/08 season he has coached the Örnsköldsvik Innebandy women's team and the Swedish women's national team .
