Martin Padar (born April 11, 1979 in Tallinn ) is an Estonian judoka .
Padar is a multiple medalist at European championships. His greatest success is winning the silver medal in Maribor in 2002 . At the 2007 Military World Championships in Hyderabad , he won the gold medal. In 2008 he took part in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Padar, who wore the Estonian flag at the opening ceremony, lost to Brazilian Joao Schittler in the second round .
In his career, Padar has won eight World Cup competitions so far.
Padar started several years in the Bundesliga for TSV Großhadern . In 2008 he moved to TSV Abensberg .
