Martin Prinz (* 1973 in Vienna ) is an Austrian writer .
Life
Martin Prinz grew up in Lilienfeld in Lower Austria and studied theater studies and German.
Awards
- 2000 scholarship from the Berlin Senate for Culture in the Literary Colloquium
- Acknowledgment prize for literature from the state of Lower Austria
- 2002 author's award from the Austrian Federal Chancellery
- 2002 Promotion Prize for Literature from the City of Vienna
- 2010 Outstanding Artist Award for Literature
Works
His novel Der Räuber about the Austrian bank robber Johann Kastenberger formed the basis for the film of the same name published in 2010, Der Räuber , which brought Prince a nomination for the Austrian Film Prize.
