Outstanding Artist Award for Literature

The Outstanding Artist Award for Literature is one of the state awards of the Republic of Austria . It has been awarded annually by the Federal Ministry for Education, Art and Culture since 2010 , is currently endowed with € 8,000 and replaces the Austrian Promotion Prize for Literature awarded from 1950 to 2009 .

In addition to the Outstanding Artist Award for Literature, the Austrian Art Prize for Literature has been awarded since 2010 , replacing the Austrian Appreciation Prize for Literature , which existed until 2009 .
