Reinhard Kaiser-Mühlecker

Reinhard Kaiser-Mühlecker (born December 10, 1982 in Kirchdorf an der Krems ) is an Austrian writer .

Reinhard Kaiser-Mühlecker presents his novel "Strange Soul, Dark Forest" at the Erlanger Poetenfest 2016.

Life

Reinhard Kaiser-Mühlecker grew up in the Hallwang district in Eberstalzell ( Upper Austria ). From 2003 to 2007 he studied agriculture , history and international development in Vienna. In 2008 his debut novel The Long Walk About the Stations was published . Before it was published, he received the Jürgen Ponto Foundation's literature prize and a scholarship from the Edenkoben mansion . Kaiser-Mühlecker's village novel Fremde Seele, dark forest was shortlisted for the German Book Prize in 2016 .
