Isabelle Stever

Isabelle Stever (* 1963 in Munich ) is a German film director and screenwriter .

Life

Stever spent childhood and youth in Munich, Paris and North Rhine-Westphalia. She completed her mathematics studies at the TU Berlin and then studied at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin . Her graduation film First Marriage (2003) received the First Steps Award for best feature film. With Gisela (2005), Stever shot another long feature film in which she was also involved as a screenwriter. In 2009 she contributed a short film to the project that, according to the news magazine Der Spiegel , “German directing elite” Germany 09 .
