Oswald Egger
Oswald Egger (born March 7, 1963 in Tscherms , South Tyrol ) is a German-speaking writer.
life and work
In 1992 Oswald Egger completed his studies in literature and philosophy in Vienna . From 1986 to 1995 he was the organizer of the Lana Culture Days in South Tyrol , which he helped initiate . From 1989 to 1998 he published the magazine Der Prokurist in the edition per procura . Egger primarily writes poetry that appears in numerous anthologies, including a. The Great Conrady , and literary magazines was published. Egger's poems have been translated into French, English and other languages.
Oswald Egger lives in Vienna and on the former Hombroich rocket station near Neuss . The poet Thomas Kling was his predecessor there.
Since 2011 he has held the newly created professorship “Language and Shape” at the Muthesius Art College in Kiel , and in 2013 he took on the Thomas Kling Poetics Lecturer at the University of Bonn for two semesters.
