Poetry Prize Merano
The Meran Poetry Prize is a literary prize awarded by the South Tyrolean provincial government in the city of Merano . In addition to this 8,000 euro award, the Südtiroler Sparkasse Foundation's prize (3,500 euros) will be awarded. Up until 2010, the Alfred Gruber Prize (3,100 euros) and a sponsorship award (2,100 euros) were awarded instead, the latter being called the "Media Prize of the RAI broadcaster Bolzano " since 2008 . In addition, there was a jury award in 2008 and 2010 (1,000 euros). It is advertised by the South Tyrolean Artists Association / Literature and the Association of Bookworms Lana. The Merano poetry competition takes place every two years.
