Kerstin Preiwuss (* 1980 in Lübz ) is a German writer and cultural journalist.

Life

Preiwuss grew up in Plau am See and Rostock . She studied German, philosophy and psychology in Leipzig and Aix-en-Provence , did her doctorate on German-Polish place names and is a graduate of the German Literature Institute in Leipzig. From 2010 to 2012 she was co-editor of the literary magazine Edit , in which she also published reviews. She also translates poetry, gives writing workshops and is a visiting professor at universities.

At the invitation of juror Meike Fessmann, Preiwuss took part in the 38th Days of German-Language Literature.

Kerstin Preiwuss lives with her family in Leipzig and is a member of the PEN Center Germany .
