Hermann Lenz Prize

The Hermann Lenz Prize was a literature prize endowed with 15,000 euros that was awarded to a German-speaking writer every year from 1999 to 2009. The prize, named after Hermann Lenz , was donated by Hubert Burda in succession to the Petrarca Prize . The jury members were Peter Hamm , Peter Handke , Alfred Kolleritsch and Michael Krüger .

Hermann Lenz Scholarship

Together with this prize, the Hermann Lenz Scholarship was awarded, which Hanne and Hermann Lenz had set up for young German-speaking writers or literary scholars. The scholarship will continue to be awarded and will be awarded together with the Petrarca Prize and the Hubert Burda Prize for Young Poetry from 2010 .
