Angela Krauss
Angela Krauss (born May 2, 1950 in Chemnitz ) is a German writer .
Professional development
Angela Krauß studied advertising economics from 1969 to 1972 at the College for Advertising and Design in East Berlin . She then worked in advertising and public relations. From 1976 to 1979 she studied at the Johannes R. Becher Literature Institute in Leipzig , where she has lived as a freelance writer since 1981 . In 2000 she held the poetics lectureship at the University of Paderborn , in 2004 she held the poetics lectures at the University of Frankfurt am Main . In 2016 she gave the poetics lecture at the theological faculty of the Humboldt University in Berlin.
Volunteering
Angela Krauß is a member of the PEN Center Germany and the Saxon Academy of the Arts ; since 2006 she has also been a full member of the Academy of Sciences and Literature Mainz and since 2014 a member of the Berlin Academy of the Arts .
