Mikael Vogel
Mikael Vogel (born August 8, 1975 in Bad Säckingen ) is a German poet , writer and translator .
life and work
Mikael Vogel was born in Bad Säckingen in 1975 . In 1994 he began an 'exclusive writing existence' and his first prose Seelensturm , which he completed in 2000. In 2001 he published poems for the first time in the magazine manuskripte .
In 2002 Mikael Vogel received the Hermann Lenz grant a . a. for his prose The Universe falls in strangely shaped pieces . This was followed by further publications in the magazines Das Plateau and Prolog .
In 2008 the volume of poetry Kassandra im Fenster , a collaboration with Friederike Mayröcker and Bettina Galvagni , appeared in the bibliophile series Lyrik aus der Offizin S. by Siegfried Höllrigl . The bibliophile volume of poetry O wilderness darkness! Night poems is another collaboration between Mikael Vogel and Siegfried Höllrigl in the Offizin S. in Meran.
In 2011, Mikael Vogel published the volume of poems Massive Animals for the first time in the J. Frank publishing house . In 2012, Friederike Mayröcker added two poems by Mikael Vogel to her list of 25 favorite poems. This was published in 2014 in Mikael Vogel's book of poems Morphine by the publishing house J. Frank.
Mikael Vogel's current and third volume of poetry in Verlagshaus Berlin (formerly: Verlagshaus J. Frank) is under the title Dodos auf der Flucht. Requiem for a Lost Bestiary , illustrated by Brian R. Williams , March 2018.
Mikael Vogel lives in Berlin .
