Astrid Rössler (born May 7, 1959 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian politician ( Die Grünen ), management consultant and mediator . Rössler studied law at the University of Salzburg from 1977 to 1982 and then completed a year abroad in England in 1982. She began her professional career from 1986 to 1987 with a court internship. Political career

After the state elections in 2009, Rössler had been a member of the Salzburg state parliament since April 22, 2009 and was elected as the successor to Cyriak Schwaighofer as state spokeswoman for the Salzburg Greens on October 1, 2011 . In the state elections in 2013 , she ran as the top candidate for the Salzburg Greens.
