Michael Donhauser
Michael Donhauser (born October 27, 1956 in Vaduz / Principality of Liechtenstein) is an Austrian writer.
Life
Michael Donhauser grew up as an Austrian citizen in Liechtenstein, where he attended elementary and high school. From 1976 he studied German and Romance languages in Vienna. In 1984 he completed his studies with a thesis on the German translations of Charles Baudelaire's " Les Fleurs du Mal ". Donhauser has been publishing prose, poetry and essays since 1986. In addition, he has occasionally translated works by Arthur Rimbaud and Francis Ponge from French.
Michael Donhauser lives in Vienna.
