Until the Reformation , the Warmbronn parish belonged to the diocese of Constance . In 1784 the Protestant Anabaptist Johannes Church ( parish church ) was rebuilt by the church council builder Wilhelm Friedrich Goez .

During the term of office of Mayor Eberhard Fork (1962 to 1972) the population rose from 900 to 2300 in 1970. On January 1, 1975 Warmbronn was incorporated into the city of Leonberg together with Höfingen and Gebersheim .

The Staigwaldhalle was inaugurated in 1978, the library branch in 1981, and the new fire station in 1982 . In the landscape protection area, the Catholic Franziskuskirche, built in 1989, and the new Protestant parish hall opened in 2002 are in the immediate vicinity.

The town hall became the property of the community foundation in 2008 and was renovated and rebuilt with volunteer work. On November 19, 2010 it was reopened as a "community center". In addition to the local administration and the meeting room of the local council , the post office, the office of the sports club and rooms for events are located here.
