Ingrid Dahn (* 1939 in Schwedt / Oder ) is a German sculptor and painter.

biography

Ingrid Dahn studied from 1959 to 1962 at the Karlsruhe Art Academy with professors Hans Kindermann and Fritz Klemm, among others . From 1963 to 1965 she studied sculpture with Rudolf Hoflehner at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart and political science with Golo Mann at the Technical University of Stuttgart.

Ingrid Dahn has been a member of the Deutscher Künstlerbund since 1973 , and took part in its annual exhibitions seven times between 1967 and 1976. Since 1975 she has also been a member of the Baden-Württemberg Artists Association. In 1997 she founded the artist group Ataraxia with the artists Max Schmitz and David Lauer .

The artist lives and works in Leonberg-Warmbronn and La Orotava on Tenerife.
