Martin Reichlin

Martin Reichlin (* 1954) is a Swiss politician from the Social Democratic Party (SP). From 2002 to 2014 he was President of the SP of the Canton of Schwyz and from 2012 to 2014 a member of the management of the SP Switzerland. He has been on the board of SP60 + Switzerland since 2014.

He ran unsuccessfully in the elections to the Schwyz Cantonal Council on March 16, 2008. In his constituency Ingenbohl , which has six seats, only the previous Romy Lalli-Beeler was elected on the SP list.

Reichlin is primarily involved in the areas of education, energy and transport. He initiated the "Energy School" award and was co-project manager during the pilot phase (2013–2015). The sponsoring association Energiestadt (EnergieSchweiz) has offered this award throughout Switzerland since 2015 .

Reichlin is a graduate mathematician ( ETH) and teaches mathematics and physics at the Kantonsschule Kollegium Schwyz . He lives in Brunnen .
