Martin Sus (born May 8, 1989 in Brno ) is a Czech football player .

Club career

Sus started playing football at ČAFC Židenice , but soon moved to 1. FC Brno . On February 1, 2007, Sus signed a contract with 1. FC Brno, which, according to Sus, provided a monthly salary of 5,000 kroner and thus an amateur contract , according to the club one of 8,000 kroner, and thus a professional contract . For February to April 2007 the player received 5,000 kroner from the club, in May 2007 7,100 kroner, but nothing more after that.

In June 2007 Sus received a contract offer from the Dutch honorary division club FC Twente Enschede , who, assuming the player's amateur status, only wanted to pay the corresponding training compensation to 1. FC Brno. The Czech first division side, however, demanded a transfer fee of two million euros on the grounds that the player had a valid professional contract.

On June 27th, Sus asked the Czech Football Association ČMFS to cancel his registration there , which happened on July 17th. In the meantime, however, the club had the alleged professional contract with Sus registered with the ČMFS on June 29, which led to a player not registered with the association having a contract registered with the association.

On September 6, 2007, FC Twente asked Enschede for a transfer permit. Two months later, the Czech Football Association rejected the request on the grounds that Sus had a valid professional contract with 1. FC Brno. On December 6, 2007, Sus terminated his contract with 1. FC Brno, which the club did not accept in a letter dated January 4, 2009. However, the contract contained a clause according to which an objection to the termination had to be made within 15 days, otherwise the termination would be considered accepted. On March 31, 2008, Sus filed a criminal complaint against 1. FC Brno for contract falsification because, according to him, his signature on the professional contract was forged.

On August 22, 2008, Sus sued the Czech Football Association in Utrecht , on November 5, 2008 the local court ruled him in all respects and instructed the ČMFS to facilitate the transfer to Enschede. As a result, UEFA intervened in the legal dispute and decided in favor of Sus.

In February 2009 Sus was finally able to sign a contract with FC Twente Enschede. There the Czech was included in the Jong FC Twente junior team . Because Sus failed to make the hoped-for leap into the professional squad, he terminated his contract with FC Twente prematurely. In September 2009 he joined his former club 1.FC Brno, for whom he made his debut on October 2, 2009 in the game against 1. FK Příbram in the Gambrinus Liga .

Sus played twice for the Czech U-18 team in March 2007.
