Martin Tešovič (born October 26, 1974 ) is a Slovak weightlifter and bobsledder .

Career

Martin Tešovič took part in the 1996 Summer Olympics in weightlifting. He was also there in 2004 , but could not land a successful attempt. In 2008 in Beijing he did not take part in the competition up to 105 kg. At the 2010 Winter Olympics , he took part in the four-man bobsleigh competition with the Slovak team , but the team could not finish the competition.

He won the gold medal at the 1997 World Cup in the category up to 99 kg with a total output of 400 kg and the bronze medal at the 2005 World Cup in the category up to 105 kg with a total output of 412 kg.

At the European Championships, the Slovak won bronze in 1997 with 377.5 kg. In 2007 he became European champion in the weight class up to 105 kg with a duel result of 411 kg.

As a weightlifter, Tešovič is a member of the Lower Austrian Association of AKH Vösendorf , which he has already helped to achieve the title of national champion several times. In the Eternal Ranking List from the beginning of 2010, he was ranked 1st.
