Martin Wiercimok (born March 16, 1969 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The midfielder Martin Wiercimok began his career at FC Gütersloh and changed in the summer of 1989 to Borussia Dortmund . There he mostly played in the amateur team in the then third-class Oberliga Westfalen . On September 30, 1989, he made his Bundesliga debut in Borussia's 1-0 victory over Hamburger SV . A few weeks later his second and last Bundesliga appearance followed in Dortmund's 3-1 defeat at VfB Stuttgart , before Wiercimok had to go back to the amateurs. In the 1992/93 season Wiercimok returned to FC Gütersloh before he joined TuS Paderborn-Neuhaus . With the Paderborn team he became champions of the Oberliga Westfalen in 1994 , but failed in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga at Fortuna Düsseldorf . Wiercimok played with Paderborn for two more years in the newly created Regionalliga West / Südwest before ending his career with Dortmund's amateur club VfR Sölde .
