Martin van der Pütten

Martin van der Pütten (born October 27, 1964 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Before van der Pütten switched to SV Meppen in 1982 , he played for lawn sport Börgermoor. In the 1986/87 season , the then 22-year-old striker became champion of the Oberliga Nord soccer league with SV Meppen and made it to the 2nd Bundesliga in the promotion round . In a total of 175 second division games for Meppen in the following years, van der Pütten scored 46 goals.

In 1994 he left SV Meppen, with whom he finished 7th in the 2nd division, and moved to VfL Herzlake in the Regionalliga Nord . He played for VfL Herzlake until 1997 and then moved to Blau-Weiß Papenburg .

Martin van der Pütten was last coach of the regional league team Viktoria Elisabethfehn in 2010 .
