Martina Gregersen

Martina Gregersen (* 1966 in Hamburg ) is a Hamburg politician on the Green Alternative List (GAL).

Life

Gregersen is widowed and has one son. She comes from a family of craftsmen in the Hamburg district of Bramfeld . After graduating from secondary school, she first trained as a painter and varnisher and graduated with honors. She received further training in the field of monument preservation .

She got involved in politics through a residents' initiative in the Jarrestadt in 1988. She has been involved in the GAL since 1992. She has been a district member of the Hamburg-Nord district assembly since 1993, where she also chaired the parliamentary group from 1999 to 2004.

Gregersen sat from 2004 to 2011 in the citizenship and there was social policy spokesperson of the Group of GAL. She was also the specialist spokesperson for disability policy and senior citizens and old people. She was also active in the health and social affairs committees.

In the 2008 general election she won a direct mandate in constituency 08 (Eppendorf, Winterhude, Hoheluft-Ost). Since then she has been the spokeswoman for her group for transport, homeless and disability policy.

In the state elections in February 2011, she entered the GAL state list, but could not return to the state.
