Martina Hubbauer , married Martina Wurm (born November 13, 1977 ) is a former German biathlete .

Martina Hubbauer from SC Vachendorf had her first successes as a junior in 1929 and became junior world champion in the team competition in 1996 in Kontiolahti with Janet Klein , Ina Menzel and Andrea Henkel . She celebrated her successes primarily in the Biathlon European Cup . In the 1997/98 season she was able to place herself in ninth place in the overall standings and celebrated her greatest successes in the 1999/2000 season . In Forni Avoltri she was third in the sprint, in Ridnaun second in the sprint and with Yvonne Zeibig , Sabine Flatscher andTanja Bauer with the Germany II season surprisingly winner before the Germany I season, in which Kati Wilhelm and Simone Denkinger ran among others . She had her best weekend at the last European Cup station in Champex-Lac . Behind Brigitte Weisleitner , Hubbauer came second in the individual and was third in the sprint behind Ina Menzel and Wilhelm. With Menzel, Wilhelm and Sabrina Buchholz , she also won the season at the end. In the overall standings for the season she came in second behind Kati Wilhelm and ahead of Simone Denkinger. At the German Championships in 2000, she won the title with the Bavarian relay. Hubbauer never started in the World Cup because she could not prevail against the great internal competition in the German camp.
