Martti Einar Ketelä (born October 24, 1944 in Kotka , † June 26, 2002 in Helsinki ) was a Finnish pentathlete and fencer .
Career
Ketelä was twice a participant in the Olympic Games and both times competed in the modern pentathlon. In 1968 in Mexico City he reached 20th place in the individual , and fifth in the team standings. At the 1972 Games in Munich , he improved by one place in the individual to 19th place. With the team, which consisted of Ketelä, Risto Hurme and Veikko Salminen , he won the bronze medal.
In 1967 he was Finnish champion in epee fencing. With the team he was six times national champion.
