Martti Suosalo
Martti Juhani Suosalo (born July 19, 1962 in Oulu ) is a Finnish actor .
Life
Martti Suosalo was named after his grandfather, the theater actor of the same name, Marrti Suosalo. His great-grandfather was the politician Kalle Suosalo. He completed his acting studies at the Helsinki Theater Academy .
Since the mid-1980s, Suosalo has appeared in more than 100 film and television projects. He had his breakthrough in 1989 with his portrayal of the Aapo in the adventure series Seitsemän veljestä . So far he has been nominated six times for the Finnish Jussi Film Award. He received three awards. For The Commercially soldier he was for Best Supporting Actor and for joutsen Kulkuri yes and Rentun ruusu respectively as Best Actor award.
Suosalo is married to the documentary filmmaker Virpi Suutari .
