Marty Greenbaum
Marty Greenbaum (* 1934 in New York City ) is an American painter and sculptor .
Life
Marty Greenbaum is from Coney Island on the southernmost tip of Brooklyn . In 1956 he graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree . The Masters followed in 1991 at Brooklyn College . He photographed, made films and performances . Between 1962 and 1965 he took part in Happenings by Allan Kaprow and Yvonne Rainer . Greenbaum had several teaching positions at various universities and was a member of the Creative Artists Public Service Program, he also participated in various exhibitions with book objects.
