Marvin Hinton (born February 2, 1940 in Norwood , London ) is a retired English football player .

Career

The defensive player began his professional career at Charlton Athletic in 1957. After 131 competitive games in Charlton's dress, he moved to Chelsea in 1963 for £ 30,000 . Before moving to the blues, Hinton was used three times for the English U-23 selection . The Englishman made his debut in London on October 12, 1963 against Ipswich Town . With the Blues he won the English League Cup in 1965 , the FA Cup five years later and the European Cup Winners' Cup the following year . After his career at Chelsea, he played for Barnet FC at short notice . He currently lives in Crawley and is at the stadium for nearly every home game of his Blues.
