Marvin Priest (born October 27, 1981 , real name Marvin Elliott ) is a British-Australian pop and R&B singer. He is the son of British reggae musician Maxi Priest and the brother of Ryan Priest, who was a member of the British band Ultimate Kaos .
Career
Marvin Priest joined UB40 in 2007 as a background singer. He became known in 2011 for his debut single Own this Club , which reached number 6 in the singles chart in Australia and was awarded double platinum. His first album Beats & Blips was released in Australia in November 2011. Other single releases from the album are Take Me Away featuring Wynter Gordon , which reached number 32 in the Australian charts and was awarded gold, and Feel the Love featuring Fatman Scoop (number 60) .
