Ultimate Kaos was a British R & B - band , the more in the 1990s chart hits had. The single Some Girls (1994) and Casanova (1998) are the group's most famous songs.

Band history

Haydon, Jomo B., Jayde, and Nico G. joined forces in the early 1990s as part of the Battersea Dance Workshop in London under the name Chaos. This was followed by appearances as a background dancer for Sinitta . Nigel Wright produced the first single Farewell My Summer Love in 1992 , the original of which is from Michael Jackson. The first highlight of their careers together was an appearance on The Michael Barrymore Show on ITV .

Now the band got a fifth member with Ryan Elliot, the son of reggae star Maxi Priest , and changed the name to Ultimate Kaos. Further engagements followed, including a. 1993 at the Astoria in London. As the opening act for Take That , Ultimate Kaos gained popularity among the young target group and was compared to the Jackson Five , also because of their danced performances .

Between October 1994 and July 1995 there were four singles in the UK charts , the debut single Some Girls was the most successful at number 9. In 1998 the five musicians followed up with Casanova , a cover version of the 1987 hit by the American band LeVert , a song that was also used outside of Great Britain, e.g. B. in Germany , Austria and Switzerland , was able to post hit parade listings. Anything You Want (I've Got It) only made it to 52nd position in the UK just under a year later. At the end of 1999 the band separated.
