LeVert (band)
LeVert was an American R&B , soul and pop group of the 1980s and 1990s that had their biggest hit with the 1987 single Casanova .
biography
The trio LeVert was formed in 1984 in Cleveland , Ohio . In addition to the brothers Gerald and Sean Levert, the sons of O'Jays - lead singer Eddie Levert , are the soul singer, was a songwriter and producer Marc Gordon to the band.
The most successful single was Casanova . The song reached top 10 placements in Germany , the United Kingdom, and the United States in 1987 . In addition, six LeVert albums were placed on the Billboard 200 . The most successful longplayer , The Big Throwdown , from which the hit Casanova also comes, rose to number 32 at home and made it into the UK album charts.
Various singles and albums by the group were released until 1997, when they split up. The Levert brothers were also successful as soloists , Marc Gordon worked a. a. as a studio musician .
