Marx Christoph Besserer from Thalfingen
Marx Christoph Besserer von Thalfingen (born June 2, 1678 in Rietheim near Münsingen; † February 11, 1738 in Ulm ) was an old Württemberg politician and First Mayor of Ulm.
life and work
Marx Christoph comes from the younger line of the Swabian noble family Besserer von Thalfingen . The son of Obervogts Marx Conrad von Besserer (1630–1708) was the mayor of Ulm. He was shot in his office by his colleague Junker Albrecht Harsdörffer . Harsdörffer was sentenced to death by shooting for this act and executed on April 30, 1738.
