Maryam Mohebbi (born January 26, 2000 ) is an Iranian sprinter .

Athletic career

Maryam Mohebbi gained her first international experience at the 2017 Asian Youth Championships in Bangkok , where she won the bronze medal in the 400-meter run with 55.94 seconds and was disqualified with the Iranian sprint relay (1000 meters). She then took part in the World Youth Championships in Nairobi , where she reached the semifinals over 400 meters. In 2018 she took part in the Asian Indoor Championships in Tehran , where she finished sixth over 400 meters in 57.71 seconds and won the silver medal behind the team from Kazakhstan with the Iranian 4 x 400 meter relay with a new indoor record.

In 2018 Mohebbi became Iranian champion in the 400-meter run .
