Masahiko Nakagawa ( Japanese 中 河 昌 彦 , Nakagawa Masahiko ; born August 26, 1969 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Nakagawa learned to play soccer on the school team at Kyoto Commercial High School and the college team at Kokushikan University . He signed his first contract with Yokohama Flügels in 1992 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1993 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . In June 1995 he moved to league rivals Yokohama Marinos . With the club he became Japanese champion in 1995 . For the club he completed 16 first division games. In 1998 he moved to league rivals Kyoto Purple Sanga . In March 2000 he was loaned to the first division club Nagoya Grampus Eight . In 2001 he returned to Kyoto Purple Sanga . At the end of the 2000 season, Kyoto was relegated to the J2 League . In 2001 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. In 2002 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club. For the club he completed 30 games. At the end of 2002 he ended his career as a football player.
