Career
society
Okamoto played for JEF United Ichihara (today: JEF United Chiba) since 1996 and has been part of the professional squad since 2002. He was in goal for JEF 244 times. The 2018 and 2019 season he was loaned to the second division club Ehime FC . For the club from Matsuyama , he completed 84 second division games. After the loan, he was signed by Ehime in early 2020.
