Masakazu Kōda ( Japanese 幸 田 将 和 , Kōda Masakazu ; born September 12, 1969 in Ehime Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kōda learned to play soccer on the school team at Minamiuwa High School . He signed his first contract with Mazda in 1988 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League Division 2. In 1990/91 he was runner-up in Division 2 with the club and was promoted to Division 1. With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, the Mazda became Sanfrecce Hiroshima . In 1995 he moved to the second division Vissel Kobe . In 1996 he was runner-up with the club in the Japan Football League and rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 95 games. In 1999 he moved to third division Yokohama FC . In 1999 and 2000 he was with the club master of the Japan Football League and rose to the J2 League . For the club he completed 46 games. In 2002 he moved to the third division Ehime FC . At the end of 2003 he ended his career as a soccer player.
