Masiler
Masiler referred to the descendants of civil servants "from older times" in the Bessarabian class order at the time of belonging to Russia in the 19th century . In their position the Masilers were to be compared with the position of the Cossacks and equated with the Ruptaschen . They were in the class order among the boyarunas .
The Masilers had numerous privileges, but were not entirely exempt from taxes. They had to perform Fourier services and paid a tax for families . Corporal punishment could only be carried out on them if a judge gave them a verdict.
