Location of the municipality in the district before the 2013 territorial reform

Massarelos is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the northern Portuguese city ​​of Porto .

The community had 6,859 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Massarelos and Lordelo do Ouro were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Lordelo do Ouro e Massarelos .
