Massimo Felisatti
Massimo Felisatti (born May 12, 1932 in Ferrara ; † September 7, 2016 in Rome ) was an Italian novelist, screenwriter and translator .
Life
Felisatti has a degree in literary studies and has worked as a magazine editor and cultural manager. In 1966 he moved to Rome, where he now worked as a translator ( Le opere latine di Dante , La storia dei Langobardi ) and author. One of his most famous works of this time is Un delitto della polizia? . With Fabio Pittorru , also from Ferrara, he wrote numerous crime stories, which also resulted in a commission for the television series Qui squadra mobile ; which was broadcast for two years from 1973 led.
He had worked for the cinema since 1968, almost always together with Pitorru. In his scripts, although they were often written for genre films, they repeatedly found reflections on the socio-cultural situation of their home country. In 1976 he co-directed Sergio Griecos I violenti di Roma bene under the pseudonym " Ferrara " . After the success of the first television series, Felisatti continued to work often in television films and miniseries.
In 2001 Felisatto took part in the documentary film project Un altro mondo è possibile , which was carried out on the occasion of the G8 summit in Genoa .
As a crime writer , he won the Gran premio Giallo città di Cattolica for Violenza a Roma in 1973 .
