Career

society

The left-footed Gobbi began his career with AC Pro Sesto . After one season he made the leap into the squad of the Serie B team FBC Treviso . But since he was unable to assert himself in Treviso, he was loaned out to the Serie C2 club SSC Giugliano for one season and then to the Serie C1 club UC AlbinoLeffe for one season. For the 2003/04 season Gobbi returned to FBC Treviso, where he earned a regular place. He moved to Cagliari Calcio in 2004 . Here he immediately belonged to the regular formation. For the 2006/07 season he moved to Fiorentina . In the summer of 2010, his expiring contract was not extended. In August 2010, the midfielder joined Parma FC . Although Gobbi's main position is actually in the central midfield, he played in his first season at Parma on the left defensive side and was able to assert himself in this position.

After Parma went bankrupt in 2015, he moved to Chievo Verona on June 30, 2015 , where he quickly made his way down left-back. In 2018 he returned to the Parma club, which has been called Parma Calcio since 2015.

National team

On August 16, 2006 Gobbi made his debut for the Italian national team against Croatia under national coach Roberto Donadoni . It was his only international match so far.
